Meinl Classics Custom Dark 8 Splash Cymbal

Meinl's Classics Custom Dark 8” splash sits at the intersection of rapid response and tonal character. Built from B12 bronze alloy using high-tech computerised manufacturing, this cymbal delivers the quick attack and brief decay expected from a compact splash, yet wraps those traits in a distinctly dark sonic signature. It's engineered for drummers and percussionists seeking immediate accents without sustain wash.

The 8” format (model CC8DAS) pairs controlled stick definition with a noticeably dark undertone throughout its frequency range. B12 bronze composition affords durability and tonal consistency, whilst the precision manufacturing process ensures repeatable response across the cymbal's surface. Short sustain makes this splash ideal for cutting through dense arrangements or live setups where tight control over decay matters. Complementary sizing in 10” and 12” dark splash variants allows for layering or substitution depending on kit configuration.
