The Meinl Byzance Dual 18" China Cymbal brings together contrasting finishes to create a truly distinctive sound profile. This exceptional cymbal explodes with a crash before quickly decaying into a low, trashy tone that cuts through any mix with brilliant clarity followed by a growling, trashy character.

What sets this china apart is its unique construction featuring both extra dry and brilliant finishes combined with specialised hammering and lathing techniques. The centre section remains raw with hand–hammered markings that showcase masterful craftsmanship, while the outer edge receives a lathed and buffed treatment for a shiny finish.

The result is a cymbal that produces low, trashy tones at the initial strike, then blooms into brilliance as the sound decays. For drummers seeking to expand their sonic palette, the Meinl Cymbals Byzance Dual series offers compelling new possibilities for creative expression.
