A limited collection of Meinl’s finest hand-made Turkish cymbals, Byzance Foundry Reserve showcases the stunning, sonically rich works of art their cymbalsmiths create. Tonality and nuance are added with extra hand-hammering, resulting in deep craters that riddle the surfaces. Coupled with wide blade lathing, these cymbals produce a clear, pronounced stick-attack note over a lush bed of even undertones. Made in Turkey from B20 bronze, hand-hammered into shape, wide blade lathing, and traditional finish.

Medium-thin weight ride features a dry stick attack followed by a complex character in dark wash. Provides strong stick definition yet is thin enough to open for thunderous crashes too.
