Meinl 20" Byzance Brilliant Medium Crash Cymbal

Meinl's Byzance Brilliant series represents the pinnacle of hand-hammered cymbal craftsmanship, and this 20" Medium Crash exemplifies that philosophy. Cast from B20 Bronze Alloy—the industry standard for professional cymbals—each cymbal receives individual hand-hammering to unlock its unique tonal character. The result is a bright, richly textured crash that cuts through any mix without sacrificing musicality.

The highly polished finish reveals the cymbal's carefully shaped profile: medium weight delivers responsive articulation whilst maintaining enough mass for projection on larger stages or in recording sessions. Expect warm, brilliant overtones with a medium sustain that sits between quick decay and long wash. This balance makes the 20" crash equally at home in rock, funk, fusion, and studio contexts. The Byzance Brilliant line spans from 16" to 20" options, allowing drummers to build a cohesive cymbal stack with matched tonality and response characteristics.
