Meinl 14 Classics Custom Medium Brilliant Crash Cymbal

The Meinl Classics Custom Medium Brilliant 14" crash sits squarely in the versatile mid-range, engineered to deliver articulate attack without sacrificing musicality. Cast from B12 bronze alloy and shaped through high-tech computerised manufacturing, this cymbal bridges the gap between snappy definition and warm sustain. Its compact 14" diameter makes it an accessible choice for players seeking a responsive crash that translates well in both intimate settings and fuller arrangements.

The Brilliant finish yields a brighter, more open harmonic character across its full frequency range. Attack remains fairly smooth despite the snappier topend, while the fade shimmers with warmth rather than clanging harshly. The model number CC14MC–B groups it within Meinl's Classics Custom series, a line emphasising playability and sonic consistency through precision casting and quality control. This particular configuration offers a wide spread, making it genuinely multipurpose without forcing compromise on tone.
