The Meinl 10" Byzance Extra Dry Dual Splash Cymbal stands out as an exceptionally crisp and trashy instrument that cuts through any mix with its distinctive overtones. This unique splash cymbal offers musicians a fast and sensitive response paired with an extremely short decay, making it perfect for precise accents and quick bursts of sound.

Crafted from premium B20 bronze with a raw, brilliant, and traditional finish, this thin–weight cymbal produces a dark timbre with esoteric, dry characteristics. The low–mid pitch range and low volume output make it ideal for studio work and intimate performances across jazz, funk, R&B, and electro styles.

The narrow blade lathe work contributes to the cymbal’s short sustain and distinctive dry sound profile. Musicians seeking a splash cymbal that provides cutting presence without overwhelming volume will find this Byzance model delivers the perfect balance of character and control for professional applications.
