Molly Tuttle's signature Martin guitar brings her distinctive 1940s‐inspired playing feel to the accessible X Series range. Built around the specifications of her cherished 1943 D‐18, this model features a comfortable period‐correct neck profile with a 1 11/16" nut width—a first for the X Series. The vintage sunburst finish, custom oval tuner buttons, and moon phase fingerboard inlays reflect Molly's artistic vision, while the figured mahogany HPL back and sides provide exceptional durability for touring musicians. A solid spruce top paired with scalloped X‐bracing ensures clear, articulate tone that suits both flatpicking and fingerstyle approaches.
The D‐14 fret body size offers a balanced, versatile sound that works across multiple genres. Martin E1 electronics come fitted as standard, making this guitar ready for stage performance straight out of the softshell case. Nickel open gear tuners with oval knobs add to the vintage aesthetic, while modern appointments like the compensated White Tusq saddle and 16" radius ensure excellent playability. The ebony fingerboard and bridge provide tonal clarity and sustain, complemented by the Old Style 18 multi‐stripe rosette and faux tortoise pickguard.
. The 1941 neck shape with standard taper, 25.4" scale length, and 20‐fret design create a fast, comfortable playing experience.
