This 12-fret 000 is one of the first all-koa Martin Custom Shop guitars, styled after the classic Style-28. It shares much of its shape and feel with the Standard Series 000-28 — short scale and a Modified Low Oval neck — giving it a modern, comfortable playability. But the sound is anything but ordinary.

The tone is rich, open, and warm, with that distinctive koa mix of sparkle and woodiness. The figuring on the koa is striking too, showing a deep, shifting glow that changes under the light. If you’ve been looking for a compact, beautifully made guitar that sounds as good as it looks, this one delivers.
