The 18w 1974XTM brings back the legendary sound of the original 1974 amplifier that defined rock music between 1966 and 1968. This faithful re-issue maintains all the authentic construction methods that made the original so special, including valve-driven circuitry, hand-soldered components, and a robust aluminium chassis.
Built with a versatile two-channel configuration, the 1974X offers comprehensive control over your sound. Channel one features the classic tremolo circuit with dedicated volume, tone, speed and sensitivity controls, while channel two provides straightforward volume and tone adjustment for clean tones and natural overdrive.
The amplifier houses a specially selected 12″ Celestion G12M-20 Greenback speaker that has been carefully aged to replicate the worn-in character of vintage speakers. This attention to detail ensures the 1974X captures that distinctive, broken-in sound that made the original 1974 amplifiers so sought after by musicians and collectors alike.
