Markbass New York 121 1x12" Bass Cabinet

The Markbass New York 121 is a compact 1x12" bass cabinet engineered to serve as an extension speaker for combo amplifiers or as a standalone enclosure with low–wattage heads. Weighing just 13.6 kg, it's the lightest and smallest cabinet in the Markbass catalogue. The 400W RMS power handling and 8–ohm impedance make it a practical match for the Mini CMD 121P combo, creating a 500W rig when paired.

The cabinet houses a single 12" driver paired with a piezo tweeter, crossed over at 3.5 kHz to extend response from 45 Hz to 18 kHz. Sensitivity measures 100 dB SPL. The rear–ported enclosure measures 38 cm wide, 42.5 cm tall, and 36 cm deep, delivering a frequency range that covers fundamental bass tones through upper harmonic detail. The 8–ohm load allows safe parallel connection with another cabinet on most solid–state heads rated for 4 ohms minimum.
