Markbass has engineered the MB58R 104 ENERGY around a straightforward principle: deliver serious low–end output without the backache. Built in Italy using neodymium speaker technology and composite cabinet materials, this 4×10" cab pushes 800W into a 4–ohm load whilst weighing just 16.5 kg. The design reflects Marco De Virgiliis' philosophy of balancing tone, power handling, and portability–no compromise on any front.
The enclosure houses four custom 10" neodymium drivers paired with a 1" horn–loaded tweeter, crossed over at 3.5 kHz for focused midrange and articulate highs. Frequency response spans 35 Hz to 20 kHz, with measured sensitivity of 103 dB SPL. Cabinet dimensions are 57.8 cm wide by 60 cm tall by 47 cm deep. Available in both 4– and 8–ohm configurations, the 8–ohm version stacks seamlessly with other MB58R cabinets for scalable rig expansion without excessive dead weight.
