Mapex Mars Birch 5-Piece Shell Pack 10/12/16/22/5.5 (Twilight Sparkle)

The Mapex Mars Birch 5-piece shell pack delivers focused, articulate tone built on 100% birch 6-ply construction. Designed for drummers seeking clarity and projection across the kit, the Mars Birch emphasises quick response and tonal definition—rack toms punch through with brightness whilst bass and floor toms maintain deep, supported low-end fundamentals. This configuration prioritises sonic character and tuning stability over all else.

Construction centres on 6-ply 7.2mm birch shells paired with SONIClear™ bearing edges that allow drumheads to sit flatter and make fuller contact with the shell surface. The result is stronger fundamental pitch, effortless and consistent tuning, plus significantly expanded tuning range. The rack toms employ SONIClear™ suspension systems sourced from the Saturn series, preserving vibration in drumheads and shell whilst preventing energy transfer to hardware. Bass drum mounted tom holders arrive standard on the 529 and 486 shell packs; the 446 configuration includes a single tom arm and clamp for cymbal stand mounting. Insulated bass drum claws with rubber gaskets protect hoops from damage and eliminate rattling during extended play. Chrome hardware and a matching snare complete the set.
