Built around a 9-ply, 7.2mm poplar shell, this 20” five-piece configuration delivers a full, warm fundamental tone suitable for studio tracking, bedroom practice, and smaller venue performance. The complete hardware package–including cymbal stand, snare stand, hi-hat stand, single pedal, and throne–means setup time is minimal and players can focus on playing rather than sourcing components.

Construction centres on poplar’s acoustic properties and Mapex’s SONIClear™ bearing edge, which allows drum heads to sit flush for improved tuning ease and shell resonance. The single tom holder (TH6215) rotates 360° for swift positioning without sacrificing stability. Hardware specification covers the C250 cymbal stand, S250S snare stand, P250 single pedal, H250 hi-hat stand, and T400S throne. Cymbals comprise a 14” hi-hat and 16” crash, both Mapex-manufactured and voiced for bright, articulate projection across small-to-medium rooms.
