This 14" x 6" snare features an 8–ply mahogany shell with reinforcement rings that enhance the 150–400 Hz frequency range, producing the dark, rustic, and throaty sounds that defined rock legends while remaining perfectly suited to today’s organic and alternative music styles.

The drum’s SONIClear Bearing Edge technology ensures the drumhead sits flatter against the shell, making tuning significantly easier and expanding the overall tuning range. Combined with the softer mahogany shell and edge reinforcement rings, this design creates a big, full–bodied sound that fills any sonic space with remarkable presence and character.

Professional–grade hardware includes Puresound Custom Series 16–Strand stainless steel wires that perfectly balance snare response with shell resonance. The Cylinder–Drive Strainer and Butt–End Adjuster feature self–lubricating bearings for smooth operation, while the adjustment dial’s "micro–lock" technology keeps snare wires secure during the most intense playing sessions.
