The Mapex Black Panther 14 Inch Predator Copper Snare Drum stands as a sonic powerhouse engineered for drummers who refuse to compromise on quality. This exceptional instrument features the innovative SONIClear Bearing Edge technology, which allows the drumhead to sit perfectly flat against the shell. The result is enhanced contact that produces a stronger, deeper pitch alongside an impressively wide tuning range, making it equally suited for studio recording and live performance applications.

What sets the Black Panther series apart is its remarkable feel, achieved through the sophisticated Air Flow Venting system. Each shell undergoes meticulous design with precisely calculated vent holes that promote exceptional resonance and create a lively, responsive playing experience. The advanced Cylinder‐drive strainer works in harmony with butt side adjustment mechanisms, featuring self‐lubricating bearings and micro‐lock technology for smooth operation and precise tension control.

These carefully considered details combine to create a snare drum that serious musicians can rely on for consistent, professional‐grade performance. The Predator Copper model represents the pinnacle of Mapex’s engineering expertise, offering both the technical specifications and build quality that discerning drummers demand from their instruments.
