Manhasset Shaft Lock

Manhasset's ingenious Shaft-Lock system transforms any standard music stand into a heavy-duty powerhouse capable of supporting serious equipment loads. The standard Manhasset shaft comfortably holds up to 3.6 kilograms (8 pounds), making it suitable for most everyday music applications and standard sheet music setups.

For musicians and professionals requiring substantially greater weight-bearing capacity, the Shaft-Lock attachment provides an exceptional solution. This clever retrofit accessory can be easily fitted to any existing Manhasset music stand shaft, instantly increasing the weight capacity to an impressive 34 kilograms (75 pounds) - nearly ten times the standard capacity.

The system features a user-friendly fingertip twist mechanism that allows quick height adjustments and secure locking at any desired position. When unlocked, your music stand continues to operate exactly as it normally would, maintaining all the familiar functionality you expect from your Manhasset stand whilst providing the option for heavy-duty applications when needed.
