This modern overdrive features a clever Mode toggle switch that offers two distinct sonic personalities - one delivering rich, expressive amp-like overdrive tones, while the other provides a cleaner, remarkably touch-sensitive response that blends your clean signal for exceptional dynamic control.
The second mode proves particularly versatile as an “always on” effect, responding beautifully to your picking dynamics and guitar volume adjustments. With its straightforward three-knob configuration - Gain, Tone, and Level - the Ranger provides intuitive control over your overdrive character while offering substantial output headroom that extends well beyond unity gain.
Beyond standalone overdrive duties, the Ranger excels as a boost pedal, pushing your tube amp’s input stage harder for additional grit and saturation.
