The Mad Professor Double Moon is a compact modulation pedal built around true analogue bucket brigade device circuitry, offering 11 distinct modulation modes accessed via a single rotary switch. Designed to cover the full spectrum of time–based effects, this pedal moves between three chorus types, three dual chorus configurations, three flanger modes, a combined flanger–chorus setting, and vibrato. The inclusion of a dedicated Tone control sets it apart from typical modulation stomps, allowing players to shape the character of the effect in the analogue domain rather than settling for fixed tonal profiles.

Control is divided across four knobs: Speed governs LFO rate, Depth adjusts modulation intensity, and the Control knob fine–tunes either LFO waveform shape or regeneration depending on the selected mode.
