Mackie's THUMP12V4 is a 12" powered loudspeaker engineered for musicians, live sound operators, and DJs who demand genuine versatility without sacrificing audio integrity. Built on decades of professional PA design, it delivers 129 dB maximum SPL and extends down to 39 Hz, combining 1400W of class-D amplification with a custom 1" compression driver and 12" woofer. The standout feature is SoundCheck DSP™ – four user-selectable voicing modes that adapt the speaker's character to its application, eliminating the need for external processing or guesswork.

The built-in mixer features dual XLR/TRS combo inputs on both channels plus a 1/8" jack, making it straightforward to link microphones, keyboards, guitar rigs, and DJ controllers without an external console. The XLR mix output chains to additional speakers or recording equipment, whilst Bluetooth® streaming runs simultaneously with analogue sources. Feedback Eliminator and Music Ducking operate at the DSP level – automatic tools that suppress feedback and tastefully reduce music levels during announcements. Compact dimensions (24.4" × 14" × 14") and 27.5 lb weight, combined with reinforced metal handles and M10 fly points, allow pole mounting, flying overhead, or portability for gigging musicians.

Four voicing modes address distinct performance contexts: Flat mode preserves uncoloured tone for trained operators; DJ mode emphasises low-end presence via Bluetooth; Live mode applies midrange clarity optimised for vocals and speech; Wedge mode (speaker on its side) functions as a stage monitor angled toward performers. Outdoor mode compensates for atmospheric absorption that otherwise dulls high frequencies. The Thump Connect 2 app permits wireless remote control of all DSP settings and EQ adjustments from across the venue, whilst stereo linking of two units bypasses cable runs entirely.
