The M-Audio Hammer 88 Pro stands as the definitive 88-key controller for musicians who refuse to compromise on authentic piano feel and comprehensive creative control. Built with best-in-class graded hammer-action keys that individually weight each note to mimic an acoustic piano, this controller provides the natural response and expressive capabilities that serious musicians demand. The custom keybed features assignable aftertouch, allowing continuous pressure scanning even after initial key strikes, giving you unprecedented control over virtual instrument plugins and sound manipulation.

Creative workflow becomes effortless with the Hammer 88 Pro's extensive control surface, featuring 16 RGB velocity-sensitive pads with Note Repeat functionality, 9 assignable faders, and 8 assignable knobs for comprehensive DAW and plugin control. The intuitive OLED screen simplifies sound browsing, control mapping, and session editing, while the rear panel offers 5-pin MIDI connections plus multiple footswitch and expression pedal inputs for complete studio integration.

Revolutionary Smart Chord and Smart Scale technologies set this controller apart from the competition, enabling single-key chord playing and scale-locked performance that eliminates wrong notes entirely. Auto-mapping instantly configures the controller for popular DAWs including Pro Tools, Logic, Cubase, and Studio One, while the built-in arpeggiator operates in both Latch and Momentary modes. The comprehensive software bundle includes Ableton Live Lite, Mini Grand, Velvet, Hybrid 3, MPC Beats with bonus instruments, 80 FX plugins, and 2GB of factory content, providing everything needed for immediate music production.
