Developed in collaboration with Questlove of The Roots, this complete drum outfit targets young players aged 4 to 10 years who are taking their first steps behind the kit. The Ludwig Pocket Junior Drum Set in Crystal Blue Sparkle arrives with every component required to start playing straight away, from shells and hardware to cymbals, sticks, throne and even introductory lessons. This entry-level configuration delivers genuine quality rather than toy-grade construction, offering families an affordable pathway into drumming without compromising on sound or build integrity.

The shell pack centres on a 16" bass drum, paired with a 10" mounted tom, 13" floor tom and 12" snare drum–proportions scaled to suit smaller players whilst maintaining proper musical pitch relationships. Hardware includes a bass drum pedal, hi-hat stand, snare stand and cymbal arm, all finished to match the Crystal Blue Sparkle wrap. A pair of hi-hats and a crash/ride cymbal complete the metal components, whilst a height-adjustable drum throne, sticks, drum key and all necessary heads are included in the carton. The complete package removes the guesswork from first-time drum purchases, bundling every essential item into a single, ready-to-assemble kit.
