The L.R. Baggs Anthem series revolutionises acoustic guitar amplification by combining cutting-edge TRU-MIC technology with the proven Element pickup system. This award-winning design features a proprietary condenser microphone that works alongside the acclaimed Element pickup to produce the warmth and fidelity of a studio-recorded guitar in any live performance setting.

Central to the Anthem’s innovation is the TRU-MIC, a revolutionary microphone engineered to capture dynamic studio-quality sound during live performances. Mounted to the underside of the bridge plate and positioned just 3mm above its surface, the TRU-MIC utilises the PZM or “boundary” effect for optimal sound capture. This proprietary mounting system incorporates noise cancellation technology, allowing the microphone to function as though it were positioned outside the guitar in a studio environment whilst maintaining exceptional feedback suppression on stage.

The system produces a balanced frequency response with outstanding clarity, creating the purest amplified acoustic sound available. L.R. Baggs has strategically paired the Element pickup with the TRU-MIC to provide additional solidity and punch in the low frequencies, ensuring a full-range tonal response.

The Stagepro Anthem features a side-mounted control panel that provides convenient battery access and includes a built-in tuner concealed beneath the control panel for a clean, professional appearance. The mix control allows seamless blending from the enhanced TRU-MIC position to Element pickup only, whilst bass and treble controls, phase inversion, and a notch filter offer comprehensive tone shaping capabilities along with maximum feedback suppression.
