LP CP Traditional 6" & 7" Bongos (Dark Wood)

LP’s CP Traditional 6” & 7” Bongos represent a stripped–back approach to hand percussion, built around wood shells and natural rawhide heads rather than synthetic alternatives. Designed for players developing foundational technique, the CP range prioritises acoustic responsiveness and durability over decorative finishes. The dark wood finish provides visual consistency while maintaining tonal clarity across both drum sizes.

Construction centres on paired wood shells paired with 6” and 7” natural rawhide heads, tuned via 1/4” diameter lugs and Cuban–style steel bottoms. Black–powder coated traditional rims ensure consistent stick definition and articulation, while the included tuning wrench allows players to dial in pitch and tension independently. This configuration supports both traditional Latin voicings and contemporary hand–percussion styles without requiring additional hardware or modifications.
