LD Systems U306 Wireless Lapel System 655-679 MHz

Professional musicians and performers can now access German-engineered wireless freedom with the U300® series UHF diversity systems, offering exceptional audio quality across five distinct frequency bands. These robust systems provide up to 100 metres of reliable range under optimal conditions, with frequency options spanning 584–608 MHz, 655–679 MHz, 823–832 MHz + 863–865 MHz, 470–490 MHz, and 514–542 MHz. Each frequency band supports up to six U300® systems operating simultaneously, making them ideal for multi-performer setups.

The transmitters feature 10 mW output power and impressive 10-hour battery life using standard AA batteries. Handheld microphones capture frequencies from 55 Hz to 16 kHz, whilst the bodypack variant extends down to 25 Hz – perfect for 5-string bass guitars with deep H strings. The bodypack includes three-level input adjustment to accommodate both active and passive instruments, plus a convenient standby mode for temporary muting.

Setup couldn’t be simpler thanks to one-touch infrared synchronisation between transmitter and receiver, whilst squelch with pilot tone technology prevents unwanted interference. The receiver boasts a clear LCD channel display, LED signal strength indicators, and dual outputs – balanced XLR and unbalanced 6.35 mm connections. An instrument-level output option allows direct connection to guitar and bass amplifiers.

The U300® range includes vocal sets with dynamic cardioid handheld microphones, bodypack configurations with headset or lavalier options, and instrument sets featuring clip-on microphones for wind instruments or low-capacitance cables for stringed instruments. Microphone characteristics can be customised using replaceable heads from the U500® series, providing additional versatility for diverse performance requirements.
