At the heart of this powerhouse lies a highly efficient Class-D amplifier producing 500 watts of continuous output, driving two specially developed 8" woofers alongside a BMS tweeter driver. The result is powerful bass response paired with fresh, natural trebles that cut through any mix. The tweeter's wave guide has been meticulously developed using Boundary Element Method (BEM) numerical simulation, reducing unwanted reflections from floors and ceilings while preventing sidelobe levels for controlled, homogeneous dispersion.

LD Systems' proprietary DynX® DSP technology ensures the STINGER® 28 A G3 maintains perfect performance with maximum clarity and power across all operating conditions. Signal processing of the crossover function and multi-band limiter work together to achieve optimal runtime with exceptional freedom from distortion, while phase plugs positioned directly in front of the 8" woofers increase midrange efficiency and reduce harmonic distortion above the crossover frequency.

Constructed from robust birch plywood and finished with an extremely resilient polyurea coating, this speaker system is built to withstand the rigours of professional use.
