Latin Percussion (LP) LP1209 Guiro Jam Block Low Pitch (Purple)

The LP1209 Guiro Jam Block represents a breakthrough in percussion design, combining the authentic sound of traditional wood blocks with the resilience of advanced plastic construction. Latin Percussion’s innovative approach has created an instrument that maintains the rich, resonant tones drummers and percussionists demand while offering exceptional durability for heavy playing styles.

Built using LP’s exclusive Jenigor plastic formulation, this low‐pitch purple block withstands the most aggressive strikes without compromising sound quality. The ridged section on top provides classic guiro sounds, making it a versatile addition to any percussion setup. This dual functionality has made the jam block an essential instrument for modern players.

The LP1209 comes complete with a heavy‐duty mounting bracket featuring an eye‐bolt assembly designed to accommodate 3/8" rods, ensuring secure positioning during performance. This patented design has successfully replaced fragile wooden blocks with virtually indestructible alternatives that have become modern staples in percussion arsenals worldwide.
