Laney's Lionheart LF60–112 is a 60W solid–state combo that maps the topology and responsiveness of tube amps into a portable, affordable package. At 9.4kg, it delivers creamy cleans through fiery leads without requiring a trip to the van between sets. The design prioritises feel over modelling—discrete analogue circuits replicate the touch sensitivity and interactive response of Laney's acclaimed tube Lionheart range rather than approximating specific tones.
The signal chain runs through a passive 3–band tone stack plus overall tone control (functioning like a guitar's tone knob), a two–channel architecture with switchable boost for nearly a third channel, and digital spring reverb built on Black Country Customs' Secret Path algorithm. A custom HH Acoustics H1260 12" driver handles the output, engineered in the UK to reproduce harmonic complexity from clean to saturated tones. Connectivity includes a high–quality effects loop, AUX input, headphone socket with speaker emulation for recording, and output that scales from full 60W down below 1W while retaining tone colour. The Bright switch on Channel 1 pairs with a Dark setting on Channel 2 for extended tonal range.
Dimensions sit at 393mm wide by 415mm deep by 235mm tall. No app, no screen, no manual required—the layout prioritises immediate playability across rehearsal rooms, bedrooms, and stages. Optional FS1–Mini and FS2–Mini footswitches add hands–free reverb and boost/channel control if needed.
