The Laney LFR-212 is a powered FRFR cabinet engineered for guitarists running amp modellers, profilers, and plugin rigs who need studio–quality sound reproduction on stage. This 800-watt powerhouse uses dual vertically–spaced 12" custom drivers and a 1" LaVoce compression driver to deliver full–range, flat response across the frequency spectrum. Unlike traditional guitar cabinets that colour tone, the LFR-212 reproduces digital tones with precision, letting modelled amps, cabs, and effects shine through exactly as crafted. Switchable cabinet emulation can be applied to the DI signal, adding frequency characteristics of physical cabinets without miking.
The dual 12" drivers handle 400 watts of power while the compression driver ensures detailed high–frequency reproduction without harshness. HF Trim control allows attenuation of the horn driver to taste. Connectivity includes XLR/Jack combi input sockets, XLR DI output for sending signal to FOH or recording, and MP3/Aux input for backing tracks or practice. Ergonomic side–mounted grab handles simplify transport between rehearsals and gigs. Switchable front illumination adds visual presence during performance. The cabinet's single–channel architecture keeps operation straightforward while the flat response ensures what leaves the modeller arrives at the audience unchanged.
