Paying homage to Kramer's legendary first Golden Age, the 84 stands as one of the most influential electric guitars ever created. This updated version captures the essence of the original 80s–era instruments better than any previous reissue, featuring authentic details that made these guitars iconic during rock's most explosive decade.

The guitar showcases several period–correct enhancements, including a new headstock rear "stinger" that perfectly matches both the body and front headstock finish. At its heart sits the newly developed Kramer USA Eruption T humbucker™ pickup, designed by Gibson Master Luthier Jim DeCola and mounted directly to the body for optimal tone transfer. Even the volume control gets the retro treatment with a distinctive knurled knob that recalls the original specifications.

Classic elements remain unchanged, preserving what made the 84 so special in the first place. The lightweight alder body construction, distinctive 84 Banana headstock profile, and Floyd Rose® 1000 series tremolo system all return, whilst the R2 locking nut now features rear–mounting just like the authentic 80s models.
