The Kramer Jersey Star brings decades of rock heritage into the modern era with its aggressive three-pickup configuration and unmistakable pointy headstock design. Originally launched in the 1980s as part of Kramer’s Original Collection, this updated version maintains the model’s reputation as one of the brand’s most sought-after guitars whilst incorporating contemporary appointments like gold hardware and a refined three-piece maple neck with satin finish.
Built for speed and comfort, the Jersey Star features an elliptical C neck profile paired with a 25.5” scale length maple fretboard. Twenty-two jumbo frets and laser-cut mother-of-pearl star inlays provide both visual impact and playing precision, whilst the alder body showcases matching mother-of-pearl star detailing that reinforces the guitar’s distinctive aesthetic.
The electronics package centres around three Kramer USA Neptune humbucker™ pickups controlled by a master volume, five-way selector switch, and individual coil tap mini switches for the bridge and middle positions. This versatile pickup arrangement allows players to access everything from full humbucker power to single-coil clarity. The Floyd Rose® R2 locking nut works in conjunction with the Floyd Rose 1000 Series tremolo system to maintain rock-solid tuning stability during even the most demanding whammy bar techniques.
The guitar comes complete with a premium gig bag for protection during transport, making it ready for both studio sessions and live performances straight out of the box.
