The KORG SV-2 Stage Vintage represents a decade of refinement in stage piano design, building upon the wild acclaim of its predecessors with significantly enhanced capabilities. This latest addition to the Stage Vintage series offers more sounds, memory, polyphony, presets, and control than ever before, available in both 88-key and 73-key configurations. The SV-2S models feature an integrated K-ARRAY speaker system for complete performance solutions.

With over ten times the sample data of previous SV models, the SV-2 houses 72 compelling sounds and provides 64 memory locations for storing edited Favourites. The SV-2 Editor software allows musicians to create custom split and layered programs, with each favourite capable of accessing up to three timbres simultaneously. The instrument’s 128-voice polyphony supports complex layering and sustained chording, while split points can be adjusted directly from the front panel.

Advanced audio sampling techniques and meticulous instrument preparation ensure the most accurate rendition of keyboard classics. Using the finest maintained instruments and sophisticated multi-mic’ing methods, every nuance is captured through the RX Layer technology – from the slap of tines to hammer releases and contact clicks. The sound library spans classic electro-mechanical, transistorised, tape-driven, analogue, and digital keyboard instruments that defined decades of popular music.
