Korg RK100S 2 Keytar (Translucent Red)

The RK-100S keytar breaks free from traditional keyboard constraints with its guitar-inspired wooden body and ergonomic design that commands attention on any stage. This distinctive instrument combines artisanal craftsmanship with cutting-edge technology, featuring a clear finish that showcases the natural wood grain - making each unit uniquely beautiful. The renewed RK-100S 2 significantly expands its sonic capabilities with 200 stage-ready presets, strengthened lead synth sounds, and contemporary tones that cover all musical genres.

Performance versatility comes through dual ribbon controllers that allow dynamic sound manipulation during live shows. The short ribbon on the neck handles pitch bend and modulation, whilst the long ribbon across the keyboard area controls pitch or filter sweeps. Scale performance mode lets you trigger notes simply by touching the ribbon, opening up unconventional playing techniques impossible with standard keyboards. The acclaimed 37-note slim keyboard maintains compact portability without compromising playability.

Powered by six AA batteries for up to eight hours of continuous operation, the RK-100S offers true wireless freedom on stage. The monaural mini-input accommodates headset microphones for vocoder performance, whilst external source input lets you jam along with backing tracks from your smartphone. MIDI output and USB connectivity expand possibilities further, allowing control of soft synths, hardware modules, or use as an elegant master keyboard with downloadable settings via Korg’s PC editor.
