Korg RK-100S 2 37-Note Keytar Synthesizer - Black

The RK-100S keytar breaks free from traditional keyboard constraints with its guitar-inspired wooden body and ergonomic design that commands attention on any stage. This distinctive instrument combines artisanal craftsmanship with cutting-edge technology, featuring a clear finish that showcases the natural wood grain - making each unit uniquely beautiful. The renewed RK-100S 2 significantly expands its sonic capabilities with 200 stage-ready presets, strengthened lead synth sounds, and contemporary tones that cover all musical genres.

Performance versatility defines the RK-100S through its dual ribbon controllers and acclaimed 37-note slim keyboard. The short ribbon on the neck handles pitch bend and modulation, whilst the long ribbon across the keyboard area controls pitch or filter for dramatic sound sweeps. Scale performance mode allows notes to be triggered simply by touching the ribbon, opening up unconventional playing techniques impossible with standard keyboards.

Practical design meets professional functionality with six AA battery power providing up to eight hours of continuous operation, perfect for cable-free stage performances. The monaural mini-input accommodates headset microphones for vocoder playing, whilst smartphone connectivity lets you jam along with favourite tracks. MIDI output and USB connectivity expand the instrument’s role as a master keyboard for controlling external sound modules and software synthesisers, with PC editor support for detailed customisation via the Korg website.
