The opsix mk II redefines digital synthesis with its groundbreaking 64-voice polyphony, doubling the original’s capacity to create complex, layered sounds without voice limitations. Built upon the acclaimed sound engine of its predecessor, this advanced synthesiser maintains full compatibility with original opsix and opsix Native sounds and samples, including extensive high-quality libraries. The distinctive Operator Mixer section now features striking green accents, highlighting the instrument’s most innovative feature.

At its core lies the intuitive Operator Mixer – six faders and knobs that illuminate red for carriers and blue for modulators, making FM synthesis accessible and controllable for the first time. The six data entry knobs provide seamless parameter access, synchronising perfectly with the large OLED display for streamlined workflow. This hands-on approach makes sound creation both straightforward and engaging, from tweaking presets to building patches from scratch.

The comprehensive filter selection spans from the radical Korg MS-20 low-pass/high-pass filter to the smooth KORG Polysix low-pass filter, alongside two or four-pole variants with resonance control. Visual feedback comes via built-in spectrum analyser and oscilloscope displays.
