Korg Monotron Duo Analogue Synthesizer w/ Dual Oscillator

The palm-sized monotron DUO brings dual oscillator power to Korg's revolutionary battery-powered analogue synthesiser series. Building on the success of the original monotron, this compact powerhouse features two analogue oscillators that can be tuned in unison for rich, thick tones or set to intervals for classic soloing sounds and unique effects. The inclusion of the X-MOD (cross modulation) circuit, borrowed from Korg's legendary Mono/Poly, adds everything from subtle vibrato to razor-sharp metallic textures reminiscent of FM synthesis.

The ribbon controller keyboard now incorporates the familiar Scale function from the KAOSSILATOR, offering four selectable scales: Chromatic, Major, Minor, or Off. This allows players to achieve precise piano-like pitches in Chromatic mode, or generate musically coherent phrases by simply sliding across the keyboard in Major or Minor scales. The simple five-knob, one-switch front panel design maintains the series' trademark ease of use whilst inviting hours of musical exploration.

Featuring the original analogue VCF filter from the classic MS-10 & MS-20 synthesisers, the monotron DUO includes Cutoff and Peak controls for comprehensive sound shaping. An auxiliary input jack allows the filter to be applied to any external audio source, making it perfect for DJs seeking stage effects or producers wanting to add analogue character to their setup.
