The Korg LP–380 combines authentic piano performance with sleek, space–saving design that looks as good closed as it does open. This slim digital piano features Korg’s flagship RH3 keybed for expressive playing, while four dynamic piano samples respond realistically to everything from gentle touches to powerful crescendos. The Classic Piano and Grand Piano sounds include damper resonance simulation that activates when you hold the sustain pedal, creating the natural harmonic richness found in acoustic instruments.
Beyond its impressive piano voices, the LP–380 offers thirty high–quality sounds including meticulously crafted electric pianos that capture both the tonal response and subtle mechanical noises of vintage instruments. Six electric piano variations cover the iconic sounds of ‘60s and ‘70s pop music plus the revered tones of soul music. Layer Mode allows you to combine two sounds, while Partner Mode splits the keyboard so two players can perform together in the same octave range, supported by dual headphone outputs.
The LP–380’s 22W x 2 amplification system delivers the highest output in its class, driving two large 10cm speakers positioned below the keyboard to create an enveloping sound field. Three onboard effects – brilliance, reverb, and chorus – add tonal flexibility, while nine different temperaments support period–authentic performances with historical ensembles.
