Korg KOVOLCAMIX Analogue Performance Mixer

The Volca mix brings together the entire Volca ecosystem in one powerful four-channel analogue performance mixer, designed specifically to maximise your live setup potential. This professional-grade mixer features an intuitive interface with vertical volume faders, crisp-sounding LO/HI CUT filters on each channel, and a master effects chain that can radically alter your sound. The high-quality aluminium-paneled body gives it the look and feel of a premium DJ mixer, while built-in DC output connectors can power up to three Volca units simultaneously.

Connectivity is comprehensive with two mono inputs and one stereo input, all using convenient mini-jacks that connect directly to your Volca units’ headphone outputs with standard stereo mini-cables. Each channel includes gain control, mute buttons, and those essential LO/HI CUT filters that provide natural, analogue character to shape your sound. The output section features RCA stereo line outputs, a master volume with LED VU meter, simultaneous headphone monitoring, and built-in stereo speakers that actually produce higher SPL levels than previous Volca units.

The master effects section runs on pure analogue circuitry, including a stereo expander for mono sources, a dynamic range compressor that responds to low-frequency changes, and the crucial side chain effect that’s become essential for dance music production. Additional send/return functionality via stereo mini-jack connections allows integration with external effects units like the mini kaoss pad 2S, while the AUX input can accommodate a fourth Volca unit, iOS apps, or any other audio source.

Sync capabilities are built right in, with an analogue sync output jack, dedicated play button, and tempo control knob that can serve as the master clock for your entire setup. This central sync control opens up creative possibilities for simultaneous sequence playback across multiple units, combined with the mixer’s mute and volume controls for dynamic live performance techniques that push your Volca rig into new territory.
