The Grandstage X features intuitive controls and a user-friendly interface that makes selecting and playing your favourite sounds effortless, while its perforated side panels add to the sleek aesthetic design.
At the heart of the Grandstage X sits the SGX-2 acoustic piano sound engine, housing a comprehensive library of world-renowned pianos including six carefully selected grand pianos from German, Italian, and Japanese manufacturers. This advanced engine provides non-looping samples across all keys, velocity switching up to 12 levels, damper resonance that responds to pedal pressure, and authentic mechanical noise for genuine acoustic piano expressiveness. The 13 main piano sounds include the new GSX Piano and Nautilus Piano, which can be layered with their Far Piano counterparts to create your ideal piano ambience.
Beyond the exceptional piano sounds, the Grandstage X incorporates the AL-1 analog modelling sound source for crisp leads and thick brass tones, plus the HD-1 PCM sound source covering a vast range of instruments. Notable inclusions are the 8-step multi-sampled Clavi D and Clavi E, harpsichord, pipe organ, 6-step multi-sampled electric grand piano, and FM electric piano with its distinctive metallic character. The innovative key-touch slider lets you instantly adjust how volume and timbre respond to your playing dynamics, allowing real-time customisation of the keyboard's sensitivity to match your individual playing style and musical requirements.
