KORG's EK-50 L takes the beloved bread-and-butter keyboard to the next level with powerful built-in speakers designed for caf performances and small events without external amplification. This specialised model doubles the speaker power of the original EK-50, featuring a specially designed speaker system that produces twice the volume whilst maintaining the portability and battery operation that made its predecessor so popular amongst performers.
The EK-50 L sports a sleek black rubberised finish that provides enhanced durability and wear resistance, complemented by improved two-colour panel printing in red and white for better visibility during performances. The automatic accompaniment feature continues to make this instrument accessible to beginners while providing the sophistication that advanced players demand, instantly turning solo performances into full ensemble arrangements.
Beyond the comprehensive sound library inherited from the EK-50, this model adds 87 new preset sounds, 18 preset drum kits, and 24 keyboard sets that combine four parts each. The additions focus heavily on contemporary dance music styles, supported by 10 new backing pattern styles that reflect current musical trends. These enhancements, combined with the high-powered speaker system, make the EK-50 L a complete performance solution for modern musicians seeking professional sound quality in a portable package.
