Legendary Korg analog synth engineer Junichi Ikeuchi (known for the ARP 2600 M, MS-20 mini, and ARP Odyssey) has crafted completely new analog circuits for the Bass Drum, Snare Drum, Low Tom and High Tom, providing exceptional harmonic richness and thick low-end response that forms a solid foundation for any track.

The analog section features dedicated front-panel knobs for the most important controls, allowing intuitive real-time sound shaping without menu diving. Each part includes a dedicated volume knob for seamless mixing, while deeper sound exploration is available through the comprehensive onboard editing system. Complementing the analog voices are 7 digital parts - 6 sample-based and 1 synthesis-based Multi-Engine - that can play preloaded PCM banks or your own imported User Samples via simple USB drag-and-drop functionality.

The enhanced Multi Engine builds upon the popular technology from the prologue and minilogue xd, now featuring Variable Phase Modulation (VPM), Noise generator engines, and a revolutionary User Custom slot. This slot can run full-fledged synth voices with built-in filters, LFOs, MIDI-controlled polyphony and other parameters - capabilities never before available on a drum machine.
