This clever device extends Ethernet and CAT5 cabling connections by an additional 100 metres without requiring format conversion or expensive optical fibre infrastructure. Simply position the DN9610 where needed in your network chain and connect to mains power for immediate operation.

The DN9610 supports dual AES50 connections operating simultaneously at different sample rates, handling both 48 kHz and 96 kHz operation with ease. At 96 kHz, each connection manages 48 bidirectional channels, while 48 kHz operation provides 96 bidirectional channels per connection. This dual-connection design proves particularly valuable for dual-redundant network configurations, including the X and Y connections found on MIDAS digital console systems.

Multiple DN9610 units can be cascaded in series to achieve substantial transmission distances across large venues or installations. The device features designated input and output ports on each AES50 connection to streamline reference clock distribution when linking multiple units together. With through-unit propagation delay kept under 0.5 microseconds, the DN9610 maintains negligible impact on overall AES50 system link latencies.
