Kentucky KM-256 Deluxe A-Model Mandolin (Transparent Brown)

The Kentucky KM-256 Deluxe A-Model Mandolin combines solid carved tonewoods with traditional A-style construction to deliver responsive tone across the full range. Handcrafted with a solid carved German spruce top and solid carved Alpine maple back and sides, this instrument offers the tonal depth and projection expected from premium acoustic design. The high-gloss transparent brown lacquer finish ages the instrument visually while allowing free tonal vibration. A padded ProTour BV-2520 Mandolin Gig Bag ships with the instrument for immediate transport and protection.

The solid carved German spruce top provides crisp articulation and dynamic response, while the solid carved Alpine maple back and sides add punch and clarity to each note. The slim Alpine maple neck profile reduces hand fatigue during extended playing sessions. A radiused rosewood fingerboard ensures smooth action and comfortable fretting across all positions. The combination of premium tonewoods and careful construction means the instrument's tonal characteristics improve as the wood matures, developing greater warmth and complexity over time.
