Kemper Profiler Guitar Profiling Rack

The KEMPER PROFILER™ has fundamentally changed how guitarists approach amplification, becoming the first digital guitar amp to authentically capture the full, dynamic sound of tube amplifiers through its revolutionary “PROFILING™” technology. This patented system analyses the sonic DNA of your amplifier, creating detailed profiles that can be tweaked beyond the original amp’s limitations. The PROFILER Rack features a compact 19” enclosure that’s only 3 units high, offering the same comprehensive feature set as the PROFILER Head with LED collars on the GAIN knob and streamlined controls for space efficiency.

Studio workflows become remarkably flexible with the PROFILER’s consistent tone reproduction across different environments. Musicians can create profiles during professional studio sessions, then use those exact sounds for overdubs and alternative takes in their project studios later. The same profiles that capture your studio magic work perfectly on stage, eliminating the need for multiple amp setups or even speaker cabinets since the miked cabinet sound is preserved within each profile.

Home practice becomes genuinely enjoyable at any volume level, solving the age-old problem of tube amps that only sound their best when cranked to neighbour-annoying levels. The PROFILER sounds exceptional through home stereos or headphones, with a dedicated ‘Space’ effect designed to reduce ear fatigue during extended playing sessions. An auxiliary input allows you to jam along with your favourite tracks by connecting your MP3 player directly to the unit.

The effects section showcases nearly 20 years of Kemper’s development expertise, featuring 8 effect modules with intuitive, musically-focused parameters rather than overwhelming arrays of controls. Four effects can be placed before the amp stack and four after, with delay and reverb modules offering spillover functionality to maintain natural sonic tails when switching between rigs. PROFILER OS 8.5 introduces wireless control via the PROFILER Rig Editor for iPadOS, allowing real-time parameter editing while standing in the sweet spot of your speakers – the PROFILER Rack connects to your local network via ethernet for seamless wireless operation.
