The MP7SE stands as a pinnacle of stage piano engineering, combining the acclaimed Responsive Hammer III keyboard with an unprecedented level of sound quality that matches its exceptional playing feel. This instrument features more sample memory than all previous models combined, powered by advanced digital signal processing that creates some of the most convincing reverbs, resonances, and effects available in a portable stage piano.
At the heart of the MP7SE’s sound library are meticulously crafted acoustic piano voices, including the prestigious Shigeru Kawai SK-EX, SK-5, and Kawai EX grand pianos, each voiced and miked to suit different musical periods and performance styles. The collection extends beyond grand pianos to include a traditional upright for more intimate musical moments, plus dedicated mono piano sounds specifically designed to cut through dense band mixes during live performances.
The instrument’s acoustic piano sounds showcase remarkable attention to detail, with each key recorded individually across multiple dynamic levels from gentle pianissimo to powerful fortissimo. This comprehensive sampling approach, enhanced by Harmonic Imaging XL technology, ensures smooth tonal transitions across the entire keyboard range and throughout all playing dynamics. Beyond pianos, the MP7SE offers stunning vintage electric pianos, classic tonewheel organs, and an extensive range of supporting voices to meet every stage performer’s requirements.
