Kala KA-TE Satin Mahogany Tenor Ukulele w/ EQ

The KA-TE brings Kala's flagship Satin Mahogany series into amplified territory with onboard electronics and tenor-scale projection. This electro-acoustic ukulele centres on an all-mahogany body construction finished in satin with cream binding, delivering the warm midrange and focused articulation that's made this line an industry benchmark. Graph Tech NuBone nut and saddle maximise sustain and harmonic clarity, while the UK-300TR preamp system with 9-volt power provides stage-ready output for direct connection to amplifiers or PA systems.

The 16.875-inch scale length and 18-fret rosewood fingerboard offer extended range across the tenor register, with fingerboard width measuring 1.4375 inches at the nut and 1.8125 inches at the neck joint. Mahogany back, sides, and neck combine with the mahogany top for tonal consistency throughout the 25.75-inch overall length. Factory-fitted Aquila Super Nylgut strings deliver immediate playability, while the body dimensions—11.75 inches long, 9.3125 inches at the lower bout, 3.125 inches deep—provide substantial acoustic volume before amplification. A single black strap button comes fitted, and the instrument accepts all Kala tenor-sized bags and cases.
