The Jet JJB–300 GD R is a four–string electric bass designed around a roasted maple neck and rosewood fretboard combination that brings warmth and response to a classic offset body design. This model delivers traditional passive J–style tonal architecture with dual single–coil pickups that respond to playing dynamics without compression or colour shifts. The roasted maple treatment stabilises the neck timber and adds midrange depth that complements fingerstyle and pick attack equally well.
The neck and fretboard pairing provides fast response across the register, with the roasted maple increasing resistance to humidity shifts common in Australian climates. Twin J–style single–coil pickups cover the bridge and neck positions, wired to independent volume controls and a master tone circuit for tonal shaping from growling lows to articulate highs. The black finish and traditional offset body shape nod to vintage designs while maintaining straightforward electronics that keep the signal path direct. Hardware includes a four–saddle bridge for intonation adjustment and standard–ratio machine heads.
