The JBL PRX835W redefines what’s possible from a compact three-way loudspeaker system, combining a 15" Differential Drive® woofer, 6.5" midrange transducer, and 1.5" compression driver with a powerful 1500-watt Class-D amplifier. This full-range speaker excels in main system applications where program material requires subtlety and nuance, capable of reproducing high-fidelity sound across the complete spectrum without requiring a subwoofer. When paired with the PRX818XLFW for extended low frequencies, users gain comprehensive control over the entire audio range.

Built-in Wi-Fi connectivity sets this speaker apart, allowing wireless control from anywhere in your venue through the free PRX Connect mobile app for iOS and Android. The app provides complete control over volume levels, 8-band parametric EQ, and up to 50ms of speaker delay for precise sound tuning. The redesigned Crown input technology accommodates XLR, 1/4" and RCA inputs with XLR loop-through, while the sensitivity switch provides flexibility to connect virtually any sound source without requiring a mixer.

Construction quality reflects JBL’s touring heritage, with cabinets built from 25mm and 18mm poplar plywood using tongue and groove joints for structural integrity. The tour-proven DuraFlex™ finish protects against wear, while dent-resistant 16-gauge steel grilles and glass-filled nylon handles ensure durability. All M10 suspension points are constructed from 14-gauge steel and tested to a yield-strength of 500kg each.
