The EON718S subwoofer represents JBL’s commitment to acoustic excellence, combining cutting-edge transducer technology with 1,500 watts of ultra-efficient amplification to produce natural bass response down to 31 Hz. This 18-inch powered subwoofer forms part of the comprehensive EON700 Series, which includes the EON710, EON712, and EON715 full-range speakers, providing complete PA solutions for working musicians and sound professionals. The custom-engineered woofer and advanced acoustic package work together to achieve a maximum SPL of 131 dB whilst maintaining clarity across its 31–150 Hz frequency range.

Professional control features include advanced dbx DSP processing with parametric EQ, polarity inversion, and speaker delay functions accessible through the integrated backlit LCD screen or remotely via the JBL Pro Connect app using Bluetooth 5.0 technology. The built-in 2-channel digital mixer offers dual XLR combo inputs with loop-out connections, making system integration straightforward. Recent firmware updates have improved metering accuracy, pass-through filtering, and connectivity whilst adding enhanced preset options that mirror the EON ONE MK2 logic.

Built for durability and versatility, the EON718S features a rugged 15-ply birch plywood cabinet with JBL’s patented DuraFlex finish and protective metal grille. The threaded pole mount accommodates full-range speakers, whilst the stackable design enables cardioid configurations for enhanced directional control. Computer-optimised ergonomic handles facilitate transport of the 37kg unit, and indexed feet moulded into the enclosure provide secure positioning options. Like all JBL Professional products, the EON718S undergoes rigorous testing including a 100-hour power test to ensure long-term reliability in demanding applications.
