Honouring that legacy, the Pro Origin 1985 Series pays tribute to Jackson®'s Southern California roots and the San Dimas® style that defined a generation of boundary-pushing guitarists.

Built in Ensenada, this series revives the look, feel, and tone of Jackson®'s early models, featuring a resonant alder body for a balanced blend of warmth, punch, and sustain. The bolt-on maple neck with graphite reinforcement offers unrivalled stability, while the sleek speed neck profile, 12"–16" compound radius rosewood fingerboard, and jumbo frets provide effortless playability and fast, aggressive riffing. A tinted finish recreates the amber hue of aged necks from the classic era.

Electronics include a custom-voiced Jackson® J-90C bridge humbucker recreated from the original 1980s pickup recipe, delivering searing tone with vintage authenticity. A top-mounted Floyd Rose® 1000 Series double-locking tremolo and locking nut system ensure rock-solid tuning and expressive divebombs. Finished in black with matching hardware and tilt-back 6-in-line pointed headstock, it delivers retro attitude with modern reliability.
