The Jackson® JS Series RR Minion JS1X proves that incredible tone and striking aesthetics don’t require full-size dimensions. This compact powerhouse features a 2/3 scale length at 22.5”, making it an ideal choice for young players taking their first steps into serious shredding, or seasoned musicians who need a travel-friendly axe without compromising on performance.
Built around a solid poplar body, the RR Minion JS1X showcases Jackson’s attention to detail with its bolt-on maple neck reinforced with graphite rods for enhanced stability. The tilt-back headstock design adds both visual appeal and functional benefits, while the 12”-radius amaranth fingerboard provides smooth playability across all 24 jumbo frets, complete with classic sharkfin position markers.
The electronics package centres on dual Jackson high-output humbucking pickups, controlled via a straightforward three-way blade switch alongside single volume and tone controls. The string-through-body hardtail bridge with block saddles ensures excellent sustain and tuning stability, while the black hardware finish complements the available Satin Black colour option perfectly.
